Saturday, June 21st, Big Valley Wrestling returned to the LGBTQ Center of Southern Nevada for the annual Pride Month celebration to raise funds for the Center, and showcase wrestlers and talent part of the LGBTQIA+ Community in Las Vegas and on the West Coast.
Loud & Proud was hosted by Kaylee Underwood, with commentary provided by Frescomattic & Dino Marx .
The event began with a powerful and positive unified energy, as the entire roster surrounded the ring to join Kaylee in an address to the unprecedented times happening in the world, that affect the lives of so many. "We are Loud and Proud, and we are here to stay!" The Center chants 'Loud & Proud' in unison, as the echoes of Pride vibrate through the Vegas Valley, Loudly and Proudly.
Match 1: Queen Of The Cosmos Moxie Strokes Vs. Songbird Ricky Tenacious
- Two vibrant personalities of the ring clashed for the first time in our opening bout. The match started off immediately, as Ricky sang his opening song, action flashing before the audience's eyes and setting an unpredictable pace to this bout. Back and forth offense, with reversals galore as both competitors tried to get the advantage on eachother. Ricky found himself leading the way after his patented Songbrid Splash, but the debuting Moxie Strokes brough the fierce from deep within, landing shotgun dropkicks through Ricky's chest. Shot through the heart, and Moxie's to blame, those kicks give love, a bad name. But when we thought Ricky would sing the final note after executing his new S.T.O Leg sweep, Moxie applied a crucific pin to secure the win.
Many new faces compete in tonight's Loud & Proud show, with Moxie scoring one for the newbies.
THE COCKPIT WITH TOMMY PURR
- SPECIAL GUESTS: NOAH ANDERSON AND JAI VIDAL, sponsored by the Alternate Reality Comics shop on Las Vegas.
WORDS. WERE. SAID
Tensions were tighter than they could be heading into the BVW Championship Match set for later that night. But an epic foreshadowing left a suspense to the possibilities the fans could witness later that night, as Fighting Chanpion Da Shade entered the onversation to remind both competitors, that he has reached 5 wins, and if he fully intends to cash in his Fighting Championship for a Heavyweight Title Match. How he would do it remains a mystery ,and who he would cash in on depends on the result of our Co-Main Event to come later in the night of Loud & Proud.
World's Greatest Wrestling sponsors match #2 in a special attraction 3 Way match to continue Loud & Proud. BVW regular Brandon Gee, and the Silver State Stretcher Andrew Delgado, were schedueld to compete in tag team action, but found themselves in a triple threat with the haunting and daunting VOID KING. We saw several attempts at an alliance, as planned, between Delgado and Gee, but The Void King brought the destruction from the depths to Sin City to prove they are a force to be reckoned with in any match scenario.
Andrew and Gee atttemped one last alliance towards the end of the match, but Andrew left Brandon Gee to be fed to Void King ,who would score the three count after a massive fireman's carry slam. Andrew Delgado and Brandon Gee have unfinished business with eachother, and The Void King continues the trend of newcomers scoring wins at Loud & Proud.
The Duel Of The Divas was our third match to carry on the evening of wrestling inside The Center. The Main Topic Stxrm Garcon, a Midwest prospect, made their debut in The Valley against the Fashionista Olivier Vegas in an anticipated one on one match. This match felt like a highlight reel of attitude, and competition. Both women brought it all to the mat, like the impressive kicks from Stxrm Garcon and impactful slams affective the head of Olivier, but the fashionista had a new clothing line to showoff in the form of her hip attack based arsenal with high flying offense such as a suicide dive and top rope hurricanrana. After fighting back and forth for control, with several close class of Stxrm almost taking a huge win back home to the MidWest with her, the Fashionista out Diva'd and out smarted her opponent, landing one game changing back fist to bring Stxrm down, followed by Olivier executing her face buster finish for the win.

Featuring: Honest John, Avery Hurts, Xander Phillips, Taylor Kingsley, Dameon Shadows, Phil Godfey, and Jimmy Jack.
Every 90 seconds a new competitor entered the match, and the more men, the more merrier the action got in a remarkable gauntlet match with all participants coming in with something to prove. Phil Godfrey, 1/3 of the Boot Camp faction, was the Mystery Entrant fans had been wondering about in the weeks leading up to Loud & Proud. Once the 6 ft + 250lbs Tank of a man in Phil Godfrey entered the Power of Pride, it was like a tornado hit the ring, with Phil taking down everything in his sight resulting in the elimination of Dameon Shadows. Everybody's favorite hillbilly Jimmy Jack entered as the final contestant, to a parade of cheers and joy from the crowd in attendance. This admiration fueled Jimmy Jack to achieve eliminations on Xander Phillips, and Avery Hurts, and yes, in a jaw dropping moment, Jimmy Jack eliminates Phil Godfrey.
Honest John throws out Taylor, leaving him and Jimmy Jack to wrestle to a one fall match finish. The crowd chanted Dis-Honest at John all night, and it seemed the lack of support threw John off his game as he missed a huge flip senton from the top rope. Jimmy crushes the bad seed with a running cross body, and sails the boat from the bayou to the pay window with a Jimmy Jack-Hammer suplex to pick up the biggest win in his BVW career, coming out victorious in the Power of Pride Gauntlet Match.
BVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Sponsored by The Voice Aaron Phillips
Defending Champion Noah Anderson Vs. Jai Vidal, sponsored by Everything Wrestling Podcast w/ Brandi and Amber & sponsored by Joseph Inserra
Just An Icon, J - A -I, Jai Vidal was welcomed back to the BVW Squared circle by an enthusastic Loud & Proud crowd. The defending champion Noah walked to the ring through a sea of boos and opposition from the Valley he claims. In a first time in ring match between Mr. Evil and the former TNA Superstar, Jai Vidal took Noah back to school, utilizing the skills picked up from competing internationally with talents like Mike Bailey, Naomi, Hammerstone and more. Noah found an opening when Jai attempted a corkscrew from the top rope, catching Jai with a decaptiating baseball slide drop kick to the f-a-c-e of j-a-i. The tides turned back in Vidal's favor after picking up steam towards the 10 minute mark of the match, but the BVW Champion would not stay down, this resiliance led to a back and forth strike exchange. But the biggest hit was yet to come . . . The dulsid tones of Megan The Stallion sprinkled through the ears of a turned around audience, fans popped up out of their seast when they saw Da Shade stand at the entrance handing his Fighting Title to Kaylee who officially announces that Shade has chose to cash in his Fighting Title mid match, and thus making the BVW Title match a triple threat. The tension just went up a whole new level with the involvement of Shade. No time to consider the possibilities of this surprise match adaption for the fans, as the action continues almost naturally. History between all 3 of these men. J-A-I balances and welcomes the newfound challenge, surviving the obstacle by executing 3 slaymore kicks throughout this new contest, but to no avail as Noah was on top of assuring a pin would not be completed, and Shade not wanting his cash in to go to waste. After several sequences of strikes and reversals, Jai is caught in Shade's tilt a whirl slam, sending Vidal out of the ring, Noah brings his championship belt into the now no DQ situation, but only for the plan to back fire and be planted into the mat with a pedigree from Shade. This is it! Shade realizes his destiny in BVW! What a moment in Loud & Proud history! 1! 2! . . . WHO IN THE HELL?!!?!?!
A Masked man weilding a steel chair breaks what seemed to be the finishing pin fall in the match, he strieks shade in the gut, the back, and over the top of Shade's skull with the steel chair. No one knows what's happening ,who this is, or why its happening. The masked mystery man takes the attention of the packed Center, slowly pulling off the mask, to reveal the man behind this was ...... RICKY TENACIOUS! The disappointment and shock that exailed from the fans was like a shot through the spirit the event had carried up to that point. A devilish smile on Ricky sustained, as the Songbird throws Noah on top of a knocked out Shade for the referee to count the 3. Noah Anderson retains the BVW Championship.
The rumors have already started concerning the rational behind Ricky's motives. Was this about Shade? Was it about Noah? Was it about Ricky. Questions to be answered.
Depsite the controversial ending, Jai Vidal and Shade still managed to share a menaningful moment on the microphones with eachother after the match, acknowledging the progression of queer wrestlers in Las Vegas.
STONEWALL STREET FIGHT
PAPA JACE' VS. BEAR MAXIMUM BOVI
A Big Fight Feel as the best bout machine in Papa Jace and the undefeated Bovi make their way to the ring. Papa Jace. the head of the hosuehold in Las Vegas Wrestling, did not take the original match up with Bovi seriously. Papa has main event a majority of the Loud & Proud events in big money matches against the likes of Allie Katch, Kidd Bandit, and last year with Effy. A series of Promos between both competitors posted online made it clear this match was getting very personal very fast, as Bovi more and more agrravated Papa in convincing him that he was a competitor to take seriously and not one to brush off in the slightest bit. Papa Jace' agreed to raise the ante by having the match evole into a Stonewall Street Fight in the Main Event of Loud & Proud. And a Main Event Street Fight it certainly was.
Papa entered the match with half his eye sight loss, as a result of an incident the weekend prior at Pridestyle Pro. Bovi was at a disadvantage of his own some would say, as his wife Mrs. Bovi was unable to be at his side for the match, per usual. The bell rang and what followed were the sounds of oohs, awws, oh my god's, and how are they getting up? Both men hit eachother with cooking sheets, crutches, steel chairs, license plates, and if a kitchen sink was available, that would've been used too. Both men have their fair share of experience in hardcore wrestling, so their tolerance for violence was high, as we would witness as they took eachother pillar to post in this chaotic main event bout.
Bovi breaks the fabric of time and kicks out of the ChastiKnee (One of very few to ever kick out of that move), causing Papa to bring out a massive door that had been calling the name of pain all night. Creating a bridge with the door on the ring apron and front row hairs, Papa executes a rib crushing senton to Bovi, who laid helpless on the door before being broken in half along with it when Papa Jace' crashed through it. It's over. . . But it wasn't. Bovi kicks out at 1, using the adrenaline to keep fighting, with a bloody mark on his back, from the door digging into him. Bovi kept reminding his opponent and the fans why the bear maximum wanted this match and why he is undefeated. The fight in Bovi seemed endless, but the ruthlessness in Papa stayed on full display.
Papa found his hands and face duck taped, after Bovi negated the same attempt from Papa. Bovi brought out the guitar he used back in the days of his muscial career, for one last number...one...hit! Bovi smashes the guitar over Papa's head, causing an explosion of rainbow confetti from the guitar. A beautiful scene of carnage clouded by raining pieces of confetti preludes a Bovi Valley Driver to put Papa down for the 3.
Bovi takes home a huge win for his career, and embeds hismelf in the Loud & Proud Hall of Fame with an action packed Main Event against Papa Jace'. Both Men showed a newfound respect for eachother after the match, with a flurry of applause from the audience echoing through the LGBTQ Center to end another succesful year of Loud & Proud.
